Terms of Service Agreement

Welcome to My Story Bot! Please read these terms of service carefully before using our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms. By accessing or using the services provided by My Story Bot, you agree to be bound by these terms of service. If you do not agree to these terms, you should not use our services.
2. Description of Service. My Story Bot is an application that uses generative artificial intelligence to create personalized storybooks. By using our services, you can prompt the app to generate a digital storybook tailored to your interests, reading level, and aspirations.
3. Subscription. My Story Bot is a subscription-based service. By subscribing to our service, you agree to pay the subscription fee and authorize us to charge your payment method for the subscription fee on a recurring basis until you cancel your subscription.
4. Payment. Payment for premium features will be charged to your payment method at the end of the trial period. Each Story fee is non-refundable, except as required by applicable law.
5. Intellectual Property. The free content generated by My Story Bot either with a free plan or free trial, including storybooks and illustrations, remains the property of My Story Bot and its licensors. This content is for personal, non-commercial use only. Modifying, distributing, displaying, performing, reproducing, publishing, licensing, creating derivative works from, transferring, or selling any My Story Bot-generated content without a paid subscription is prohibited.
6. For Premium stories, users pay a fee to gain commercial use rights, allowing them to edit, distribute, sell, or use the content as they wish, without restrictions from My Story Bot. Premium stories can be removed from the public library as requested by author, ensuring their control over the distribution and use of their purchased content.
7. Privacy. We take your privacy seriously and will only use your personal information in accordance with our privacy policy, which can be found on our website.
8. Limitation of Liability. My Story Bot and its affiliates, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of our services, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, and consequential damages.
9. Indemnification. You agree to indemnify and hold My Story Bot and its affiliates, licensors, and service providers harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your use of our services.
10. Modifications to Terms of Service. My Story Bot may modify these terms of service at any time, without notice. Your continued use of our services after any such modification constitutes your acceptance of the new terms of service.
11. Termination. My Story Bot may terminate your access to our services at any time, for any reason. Upon termination, you must cease all use of our services.
12. Governing Law. These terms of service will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of North Carolina, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law.
13. Entire Agreement. These terms of service constitute the entire agreement between you and My Story Bot with respect to the use of our services.
